Greenland Sleeping Shark
The Greenland sleeper shark, also known as the Greenland shark, is a marine animal belonging to the family Nymphalidae in the order Squaliformes. Named after its main distribution area in the waters near Greenland. The Greenland sleeper shark is distributed in the cold waters of high latitudes in the North Atlantic, as well as in the southern hemisphere of South Africa, Argentina, and the Antarctic. The Greenland sleeper shark is a benthic shark species that inhabits deep water environments. In summer, it migrates to shallow or estuarine waters at depths of 180-300 meters, living alone and swimming slowly. Their diet is very diverse, they almost eat whatever they encounter. He is fierce by nature and can also hunt polar bears. The Greenland sleeping shark is not only the largest fish species in cold sea areas, but also the fourth largest shark species in the world
